The trail hugs the headlands between Gokarna's beaches — mostly moderate walking with some rocky stretches. It can be done in a half-day or spread across stops, and boats can cover parts if needed.
Bring water, sun protection, grippy footwear and swimwear. Start early to beat the midday heat, and carry cash for the beach cafes.
The nearest airports are Hubli (about 3 hours) and Goa's Dabolim (about 3.5 hours), with Mangalore (about 4 hours) also an option. Gokarna Road station on the Konkan Railway is about 20–30 minutes from the beaches; Ankola and Kumta are nearby railheads too. We arrange private transfers so you reach the coast comfortably.
October to March for dry, pleasant conditions. Avoid the monsoon, when cliff paths get slippery and the sea is rough.
