You'll split your time between the buzzy beaches of the south and the temples, terraces and jungle of Ubud, with a day left over for an island or waterfall adventure. It suits couples, friends and families who want a balanced mix of relaxation and sightseeing without feeling rushed.
Arrive at Denpasar and transfer to your southern hotel. Settle in and enjoy a first sunset stroll along Seminyak or Kuta beach.
Discover the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Sacred Monkey Forest and the Bali Swing, with a stop at Tibumana Waterfall to cool down.
Explore the southern peninsula, then head to Uluwatu Temple for the clifftop Kecak fire dance and a spectacular ocean sunset.

This five-day itinerary is our most popular length for first-time visitors. It balances beach downtime in the south with a full day of Ubud culture and a day for temples and adventure, so you leave feeling you've truly seen Bali. The pace is comfortable, with private transfers between each experience.
Most guests base themselves in the south for easy beach and airport access.
A split stay with a night or two in Ubud can also be arranged.
Beyond the temples and terraces, five days leaves room to add a Balinese cooking class, a spa afternoon, or watersports at Tanjung Benoa. Ubud is the hub for yoga, art markets and jungle swings, while the south is all about beach clubs and sunsets.
Aim for the April–October dry season for the sunniest beach days, with July and August the liveliest. November to March brings short, warm downpours and lusher scenery, and remains a good-value time to travel.
Indian passport holders travel on a Visa on Arrival (e-VoA), valid around 30 days. Our team walks you through what to prepare, while the visa is issued by Indonesian immigration on arrival.
