Andaman's Radhanagar and Neil Island beaches are stunning and easy to reach, with reliable operators for diving, snorkelling and sea-walking. Lakshadweep, being far less developed and strictly protected, has arguably purer coral reefs and clearer lagoons, superb for snorkelling and diving in near-solitude. If you want gorgeous beaches with lots to do, choose Andaman; if you want the most untouched reefs and quiet, choose Lakshadweep.
Andaman is straightforward — no special permit for the main islands, regular flights to Port Blair and frequent ferries between Havelock and Neil. Lakshadweep requires an entry permit for every visitor, flights to Agatti are limited, and accommodation is capped to protect the ecosystem, so it needs earlier planning and flexibility. We assist with Lakshadweep permits as part of the package, though approvals rest with the authorities and we can't guarantee them.
