The Andamans deliver warm water, excellent visibility and living coral within easy reach of shore. Sites range from beginner-friendly lagoons to deeper reefs for logged divers, so the islands work for complete novices and experienced divers on the same trip.
No experience is needed for a Discover Scuba try-dive, where a qualified instructor guides you throughout. Certified divers can book fun dives, and some centres offer entry-level courses.
Fly into Port Blair (IXZ) with direct flights from Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi and Hyderabad. From there, private cruise ferries and government ferries reach Havelock and Neil, which we pre-book so your dive days run smoothly.
October to May brings calm seas and the clearest water, with peak conditions around December and January. The June-September monsoon can churn the sea and cause occasional ferry disruptions, so we plan diving trips in the drier months.
Indian nationals need no permit for Port Blair, Havelock or Neil. Carry cash as ATMs are limited on the outer islands, and allow a no-fly gap after your final dive before travelling home. We'll advise on timings when we build your itinerary.
