Itinerary information
Day 1: Arrival in Rome – the Eternal City
Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel. Explore cobbled streets, sip espresso in a local café, and toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain for good luck.
Day 2: Rome sightseeing – glory of the Roman Empire
Tour the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. In the afternoon, visit the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica
Day 3: Free day in Rome or optional Pompeii tour
Spend the day shopping or exploring charming neighborhoods like Trastevere. Optionally, take a guided tour to Pompeii and the stunning Amalfi Coast.
Day 4: Florence – the heart of the Renaissance
Travel to Florence. Visit the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, and see Michelangelo’s David at the Accademia Gallery. Finish with a Tuscan wine tasting.
Day 5: Pisa or Chianti Valley – a choice of wonders
Choose between a half-day tour to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa or a beautiful countryside drive through Chianti, including wine and cheese tasting.
Day 6: Venice arrival & gondola ride
Take a high-speed train to Venice. Check into your hotel and enjoy a romantic gondola ride through the canals.
